Very deep dark red black colour with a very dark red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of aniseed, dried meats, scorched earth, dried herbs and blackpepper. Medium bodied the palate of this cool climate Syrah has expressive ripe dark cherry, plum and aniseed flavours which are interwoven with smoked meats, earthy dried herbs and blackpepper. Sturdy tannins lead into a medium to long aftertaste.
