Opaque dark red black tinged colour with a vibrant purple red hue. Aromas of dark plum and liquorice are overlaid by earth, vanillin cedar and blackpepper. Medium bodied the palate possesses juicy blackberry, liquorice and plum flavours over dried meats and spicy pepper. Fine elegant mouthfeel finishing with slightly dryish tannins and bright youthful acidity. Aftertaste of spicy pepper, fresh plums, liquorice and dried meats.
