2016 Le Pigeoulet Vaucluse

A blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 5% Cinsault and 5% Carignan that offers great drinkability. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Elevated ripe black cherry and black raspberry aromas mix with some liquorice, scorched earth, dried herbs and pepper. Rich black cherry and black raspberry fruits have a generous feel across the medium to full bodied palate with elements of liquorice, scorched earth, leather, dried herbs and spicy pepper lying beneath. Ripe, slightly chewy tannins with solid depth and a long, faintly leathery finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
