2016 Kurtz Seven Sleepers Shiraz

Totally opaque midnight black core with a bright dark red black tinged hue. Elevated aromas of ripe blackberries and liquorice intermingle with dark plums over smoky vanillin cedar and spice. Full bodied with a rich, plump mouthfeel the palate is filled with dark plum, ripe blackberry and liquorice flavours over a smoky vanillin oak and spice background. There’s a brightness to the acidity and the tannins have a firm feel yet are fine grained. Aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice, smoky vanillin oak and pepper.
