Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Intense liquorice and black raspberry scents jump out of the glass followed by smoky vanillin cedar notes, earth and pepper. Rich and plump the palate is awash with opulently textured liquorice, black raspberry and black cherry fruits. Sitting underneath is spicy vanillin oak, scorched earth and spicy pepper characters. Excellent concentration with velvety tannins and a long succulent aftertaste that has a dash of blackpepper to it.
