2016 Kooyong Massale Pinot Noir

Vibrant dark red colour showing good depth with a bright crimson red hue. Fragrant scents of red and dark cherries, violets and strawberries tinged with a hint of sour cherries emerge from the glass followed by a light meatiness and spicy dried herbs. Light in body with a feeling of freshness to it, the palate is decorated with a savoury flavour profile of ripe red and dark cherries subtlety laced with dried herbs over some meatiness and spicy cedar. Dry, fresh finish with finely grained well integrated tannins and an aftertaste of bright red and dark cherries, subtle dried herbs, some meatiness and spicy cedar.
