2016 Kilikanoon Killerman's Run Grenache Shiraz Mataro

Produced from predominately Grenache, this great value GSM spent 16 months maturing in new and seasoned French oak barriques. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Elevated aromatics of dark raspberries and a touch of liquorice sit over hints of earth, vanillin cedar and spicy pepper. Rich and fleshy the medium bodied palate dishes up flavours of spicy dark raspberries and liquorice which are underscored by subtlety earthed vanillin cedar and faint pepper. Velvet smooth, perfectly integrated tannins enhance the wines plush textural feel. Long juicy aftertaste of spiced dark raspberries, liquorice, vanillin cedar, a touch of earth and pepper.
