The excellent Cabernet underwent sixteen months maturation in new and seasoned French oak hogsheads.Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Elevated blackcurrant and mulberry scents intermingle with cedary tobacco characters, hints of black olive and spicy bay leaf. Medium to full in body with rich blackcurrant flavours to the fore. Also present are elements of ripe mulberry, cedary tobacco characters and spice. Well managed fine grained tannins are perfectly integrated. Solid depth with a lengthy finish of blackcurrant, mulberries, cedary tobacco characters, dried herbs and spice.
