Matured in oak barrels for 13 months. Inky black colour showing excellent depth with a deep dark red black tinged hue. The elevated nose displays aromas of liquorice, dark plums and blackberries over toasty vanillin cedar and spicy pepper. Medium to full bodied with a soft fleshy feel and a touch of elegance the palate possesses flavours of succulent blackberries and liquorice which intermix with dark plums, vanillin cedar and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice, dark plums, slightly toasted vanillin cedar and spice.
