2016 JJ Vincent Bourgogne Blanc

The JJ Bourgogne Blanc is a tribute to Jean Jacques Vincent who has managed the family domaine of Château Fuissé for the past 40 years. Sourced from the southern part of Burgundy near Macon and Pouilly Fuisse, 70% of the wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness whilst the remainder sees about 6 months in oak.

Brilliant pale straw to straw colour with a watery hue. The nose shows good elevation with aromas of ripe pear and peach meshed to dried honey characters with wet stone, faint citrus and flinty notes following. Lightly creamed, elegant and fresh in its feel the light to medium weight palate features pear, dried honey and subtle cashew flavours over light citrusy nougat and stony elements. Finishes dry with a medium to long stony infused aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
