2016 J.M. Lentini Eden Valley Syrah

Showing incredible depth of colour this wine has an impenetrable inky black core and a dark red black tinged hue. Heady black plum, black cherry, blackberry and liquorice aromas waft from the glass followed by earthy leather, toasty vanillin oak and spice notes. Full bodied, rich and opulently textured, luscious black cherry, liquorice and dark plum flavours sit over a back drop of earth, subtle dark chocolate and spicy leather nuances. Bright acidity with slightly dryish, ripe and chewy tannins. Excellent power, finishing long, lavish and chewy.
