Totally impenetrable midnight black core with a bright dark red black hue. Nosing reveals freshly crushed blackberry and plum aromas which intermix with some liquorice, toasty oak and spice. Medium bodied with a youthful inkiness to the flavours of crushed blackberries, plum and liquorice. Some spicy vanillin cedar acting as a back drop. Finishes with fresh youthful acidity. Ever so slightly chalky tannins with a modest aftertaste of inky freshly crushed berries, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
