2016 Hugh Hamilton The Villain Cabernet Sauvignon

Impenetrable black as night core with a deep dark red black hue. Lifted blackcurrant and mulberry aromas are interweaved with cigar box, dried herbs and spicy black olive notes. Rich blackcurrant and ripe mulberry flavours are backed by firm drying tannins with elements of cigar box, earth and spicy, slightly bitter dried herbs then moving in. Good mid palate body weight finishing with a somewhat modest aftertaste.
