Aged for 20 months in French oak. Dense black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Intense ripe blackcurrant and liquorice scents fill the nostrils followed by hints of dark chocolate, vanillin cedar, earth and spice. Rich, opulently textured and full, the palate is awash with ripe blackcurrant and chocolate bullet flavours. Vanillin cedar, earth and spice characters chime in on the back half with firm, sturdily built tannins providing structure. Excellent power and volume in the mouth with a long generously fruited yet robust conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 15%

Other Reviews….
Cabernet sauvignon in all its glory, and while it's on the riper spectrum, this is by no means jammy. It's more fresh satsuma plum and blackberry. Laden with flavours from soy sauce, mint chocolate to blackstrap licorice, unfurling over a full-bodied palate to be met by persuasive, plentiful tannins with the texture of cocoa. All in all, impressive. Drink by 2033.
