2016 Hay Shed Hill Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque midnight black core with a deep dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant infused with black olive are trailed by cigar box, subtle earth and spicy bay leaf notes. Medium bodied, there’s good richness to the blackcurrant and mulberry fruit which nonetheless has an elegant feel. Black olive, cedary tobacco characters, infusions of bay leaf and spice are also apparent. Fine well structured tannins have a slightly grainy feel. Concludes with a medium to long aftertaste.
