Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of dark plum, liquorice and ripe blackcurrant are followed by hints of mint, vanillin cedar and spice. Plush with generous dark plum, liquorice and choc mint flavours running into some prominent vanillin cedar characters. Finishes spicy with slightly dryish but finely grained tannins. The oak component a little too prominent on the aftertaste.
