Totally opaque black dark red colour with a very dark red hue. Fragrant blackcurrant and mulberry aromas overlaid with bay leaf are followed by vanillin cedar, earth and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate is layered with plush blackcurrant, plum and mulberry flavours which are underpinned by some liquorice, cigar box characters, earth and spice. Velvet like yet structured tannins with a long ripe, savoury aftertaste.
