2016 Gibson Discovery Road Nero d'Avola

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a vibrant dark red hue. Lifted ripe dark cherry and liquorice aromas laced with incense are followed by spicy vanillin cedar notes. Medium weight and very savoury the palate features moreish dark cherry, plum and liquorice flavours over infusions of incense and spice. Fleshy mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, liquorice, light earth and incense infusions.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
