Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Top notes of blackcurrant sit over ripe mulberries, hints of black olives, cigar box, earth and spice. Medium bodied with good richness the palate is dominated by ripe blackcurrant flavours with nuances of mulberry, cigar box, earth and spicy black olive also chiming in. There’s good freshness to the mouthfeel with a dryish finish and slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of spicy blackcurrant, cigar box, black olives and earthy dried herbs.
