2016 Gestalt Hypnos Shiraz Pinot Noir

Deep dark red black tinged core with a dark red hue. The Shiraz component dominates the nose with aromas of blackberries and liquorice laced with incense followed by some ripe dark cherry, vanillin cedar and spice. Juicy ripe blackberry and liquorice flavours fill the supple, medium bodied palate with an undercard of ripe cherries, vanillin cedar and spice. Velvety tannins with good vibrancy and an aftertaste of blackberries, ripe cherries, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
