Matured in 30% new French oak. Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep black dark red hue. Ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plums scents rise from the glass with vanillin cedar, earthy fennel and light pepper notes ensuing. Rich, large scaled flavours of dark plum, blackberry and liquorice completely consume the palate. Underscoring the lavish fruit are smoky vanillin cedar, earthy fennel and pepper characters. Opulent texture with velvet like yet structured tannins. Excellent power and concentration concluding long and sumptuous.
