2016 Frogmore Creek Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Lifted aromas of ripe peaches and nectarines draped in dried honey are followed by hints of honeycomb, toasty oak and spicy nougat. Medium weight with a gentle creaminess to the textural feel the palate sports generous flavours of ripe peaches and nectarines overlaid by dried honey with nuances of biscuity oak, light cashew and spicy nougat as a back drop. Clean dry finish with a long ripe peach, dried honey, cashew, biscuity oak and spicy nougat aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
