Matured in 50% new American oak barriques for 20 months. Midnight black core with a dark red black tinged hue. Opulent ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate aromas waft through the nostrils followed by vanillin oak and spicy mocha. Voluptuously rich, the palate is flooded with dark chocolate, liquorice and blackberry fruits which overlay a toasty vanillin oak, earth and spicy mocha back drop. Silky smooth tannins with a long plush finish.
