Matured for 18 months in French oak. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of mulberry, tobacco, dusty cedar and some spicy capsicum like end notes. Medium bodied the palate is generously fruited with blackcurrant and mulberry over cedary tobacco characters, dried herbs and spice. Slightly dryish fine grained tannins with a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Still fresh with hints of purple to the garnet colour. And bright-fruited too - redcurrants, blackberries, hints of cedar and bay leaf. The palate is medium-bodied with assertive, not aggressive tannins that add savoury appeal. Understated and not overdone. There's virtue in that. Drink by 2030.
