Sourced from 30 year old dry grown vines. Very deep black core with a dark red black hue. Aromas of stewed plum, ripe cherries, liquorice and earth are trailed by dried herb and spicy leather notes. Medium bodied, fleshy plum and liquorice flavours run into earthy leather, dried herb and spicy pepper characters. Fine grained tannins with still quite bright acidity and a spicy aftertaste of moderate length.
