Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red black tinged hue. Intense liquorice and aniseed like aromas lead the way on the nose with dark plum, blackberry, vanillin cedar, subtle earth, fennel and pepper ensuing. Medium to full bodied with a plush yet refined feel, the palate is flooded with juicy dark plum and liquorice fruit underpined by vanillin cedar, light scorched earth elements and spicy fennel. Beautifully integrated silky smooth tannins. Understated power finishing long, rich and opulent.
