2016 Elderton E Series Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

Fruit was sourced from Langhorne Creek and Barossa. Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red purple hue. Blackberry, liquorice and ripe plum scents drift out of the glass followed by vanillin confectionary and traces of scorched earth. Medium weight with a fleshy feel, juicy blackberry, liquorice and plum fruit dominates over subtle vanillin cedar and spice. Finely grained tannins with an aftertaste of blackberry, plum, liquorice, vanilla and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
