2016 Duke's Magpie Hill Reserve Shiraz

Totally opaque dark red black core with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of spicy dark plum and liquorice which are overlaid by smoked meats and subtle vanillin cedar with earthy blackpepper end notes. Medium bodied with a generous velvety feel the palate possesses rich blackberry and liquorice flavours followed by vanillin cedar, some meatiness and pepper. Plush, silky smooth tannins show great polish. Long spicy blackberry, liquorice, vanillin cedar, dried meats and blackpepper aftertaste.
