Softly spicy and earthy aromas are comprised primarily by various dark berries that are trimmed by hints of wood and the sauvage. The mid-palate of the broad-shouldered and generously proportioned flavors is quite pliant yet they immediately tighten up on the sappy and mouth coating finish that delivers fine complexity and persistence. Like most of the wines in the range, this should drink relatively well in its youth if desired.
