2016 Domaine Maby La Fermade

A blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 20% Mourvedre. Impenetrable black dark purple colour with a bright dark purple hue. A combination of black cherry, black raspberry and liquorice aromas fills the nostrils over hints of black olives, lightly scorched earth and pepper. Rich, opulent and chewy with good balanced freshness the palate is awash with black raspberry, liquorice and ripe black cherry flavours. Some subtle earthy graphite and spicy pepper nuances also chime in. Ripe chewy tannins provide some grip on the finish. Excellent power with a long ripe black raspberry, liquorice, black cherry, earthy graphite and spicy pepper aftertaste.
