Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Lifted ripe peach and nectarine aromas sit over hints of dried honey, lightly toasted oak and spice. Possessing a rounded, subtlety creamed mouthfeel, initial ripe peach fruit flavours are overwhelmed by a hefty dose of charry oak which totally consumes the back palate and aftertaste. There’s also some spice evident. Well balanced acidity with charry oak lingering right through to the finish.
