2016 DeBortoli Villages Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak casks. Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Spicy dark cherry scents meet up with some meaty characters, a faint whiff of anise and subtle earthy cedar notes. Light in body weight the palate possesses vibrant flavours of dark cherries and plum over meaty cedar and spice. Dry finish with finely grained tannins and lively acidity. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, plum and meaty cedar like characters.
