2016 De Bortoli Villages Grenache Rose

This delicious beautifully textured Rose was fermented in older French oak casks. Translucent pale salmon pink colour with a watery hue. Aromas of red cherries sit alongside some raspberries and musk with wet stone end notes. The palate has a soft rounded textural feel that’s almost creamy like with enticing flavours of raspberries and creamy strawberries over some musk and light spice. Excellent fruit purity and concentration. Dry finish with sufficient acidity and a long moreish aftertaste of raspberries, strawberry cream, subtle musk infusions and spice.
