Black as night in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and liquorice mix with earth, tobacco, vanillin cedar, black olive and spicy dried herb notes. Tightly wound and stern in its feel, ripe blackcurrant and mulberry fruits are constrained with earthy tobacco characters, dried herbs and spicy cedar sitting on the other side. Finishes dry with very grippy tannins that cut the finish short.
