2016 Dalrymple Cave Block Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Elevated nectarine and dried honey aromas have a subtle gun flint overlay with citrusy lemon butter and spice notes ensuing. Mid weighted nectarine and dried honey flavours cast a supple feel across the palate with melon, citrus, light toast and flinty elements in the back ground. Finishes dry with vibrant acidity and a long refined aftertaste that has a flinty edge to it.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
