2016 Costanzo & Sons Single Vineyard Kinship Chardonnay

Matured for 10 months in 30% new French oak barriques. Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Subtle white peach and citrus notes are infused with some flinty matchstick characters followed by light smoke, biscuity oak and spice. The palate possesses good weight and richness as well as a creamy texture with flavours of pears and ripe peaches laced with dried honey over smoky flint like characters, biscuity oak and spice. Clean dry finish with well balanced acidity concluding long with ripe pear, peaches, dried honey, smoky flint like infusions and spicy biscuity oak.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
