2016 Cosa Nostra Il Capo

A blend of Sangiovese, Nero d’Avola and Barbera sourced from the Yarra Valley and Heathcote. Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Fragrant violet and fresh herb scents intermix with ripe dark cherries and incense followed by hints of spicy earth. Light and elegant in its feel, the palate features juicy dark cherry flavours laced with smoky incense, fresh herbs and spicy earth characters. Dry savoury finish with finely grained tannins and lively acidity. Aftertaste of spicy fresh herb infusions, dark cherries, traces of incense and earth.
