2016 Conde Valdemar Crianza Tempranillo

A blend of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano aged for 13 months in American oak barrels. Very deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of black cherries and liquorice infused with dried herbs are trailed by some scorched earth and spicy vanillin cedar notes. Medium bodied black cherry and liquorice flavours have a chewy feel with earthy dried herb and spicy pepper nuances sitting underneath. Firm ripe tannins with a medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

This polished red is firm and focused. Cherry and berry flavors mingle with forest floor, black tea and vanilla notes, while juicy acidity balances the tannins. Harmonious, showing good depth and length. Drink now through 2028.
