Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Ripe blackcurrant aromas tinged with cedary tobacco characters are trailed by hints of mulberry and spicy dried herb notes. Medium bodied and elegant in structure, there’s good richness to the blackcurrant and mulberry fruit which sits atop dusty cedar, tobacco and spicy dried herb elements. Slightly dryish finish with ripe chewy tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews….
76.95% cabernet sauvignon, 17% merlot and 6.05% petit verdot, crushed and destemmed, cool-fermented for 14 days, matured in French oak for 10 months. Vivid colour and richly endowed with classic Margaret River cabernet, cassis and a touch of black olive joining in with the tannins to complete a wine at an unbelievably low price. And think of the care needed to blend in petit verdot with a contribution of 6.05%. Drink by 2031.
