2016 Chateau de Chamirey Mercurey

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Aromas of red and sour cherries intermix with hints of winter strawberry, infusions of fresh herbs, light forest floor and spice. Light, bright and fresh the elegant palate is flavoured with red cherries, winter strawberries and a dash of sour cherries all infused with fresh herbs. Subtle earth underlay with a touch of spice on the vibrant finish. Well integrated tannins with a medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
