2016 Charles Melton The Father in Law Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black core with a deep bright dark purple black tinged hue. Pronounced dark plum, liquorice and black cherry scents overlay smoky oak, faint hints of dried clove and blackpepper. Medium to full bodied, rich black cherry and liquorice flavours infused with blackpepper overlay some meatiness and lightly smoked spicy cedar. Finishes dry and peppery with slightly chewy tannins. Aftertaste of black cherries, blackpepper, liquorice, dried meats and spicy smoked cedar.
