Notes from the Importer….
60% Garnatxa Roja, 20% each Caranyena and Syrah, upto 40 years old. Hand-harvested, natural vineyard yeasts, a long, relatively cool fermentation in stainless steel, 24 day maceration, clarified, unfiltered. Loaded with balsalm underscored by rocket llicorella, this has pristine dark fruit, which is gentle and soft, nicely structured, with twiggy balsalm in fruit tannins through stony earth.
