2016 Cake Wines Cabernet Sauvignon

Excellent colour featuring a totally opaque pitch black core and a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of ripe red currant and mulberry combine with some tobacco like notes followed by spicy vanillin cedar and bay leaf. Medium bodied with good richness and a slightly chewy feel the palate dishes up ripe red currant and mulberry flavours over subtle cedary tobacco characters and infusions of bay leaf. Good concentration, firmish tannins and a medium length finish.
Cellar 2-3 years.
