Matured in American oak hogsheads for 18 months. Dense pitch black colour with a deep black dark red hue. Pronounced ripe morello cherry, dried cherry, black plum and liquorice scents are overlaid with vanillin oak, dried herbs and spice. Lush black and morello cherry, liquorice and black plum fruits flood the voluptuously textured, full bodied palate. Vanillin oak, subtle earth and dried herbs sit beneath. Velvety tannins with a plush medium to long aftertaste.
