Cellar: 4 - 5 Years (2022-2023)

Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive glimmer of green to the outskirts and a watery hue. Dispelling aromas of nectarines, citrus and light grapefruit, also evident are subtle biscuity nougat and flinty notes. Delicately creamed in the mouth, the light to medium weight palate has elegant flavours of nectarines, grapefruit and citrusy nougat which sit over some light biscuity oak and flintiness. Finishes dry with fresh acidity. Aftertaste of nectarine, grapefruit, citrusy nougat, lightly toasted biscuit and faint notions of gun flint.
Cellar 4-5 years.
Alc. 12.5%

Other Reviews….
Whole bunch-pressed, wild-fermented in French oak (30% new), matured for 10 months. Beechworth produces chardonnay that has fruit complexity largely unrelated to fermentation-created funk/complexity. There is also a drive that gathers pace as the wine moves along the palate to the long, lingering finish. Drink by 2027.
