2016 Brini Blewitt Springs Single Vineyard Shiraz

Matured in French and American oak. Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red black tinged hue. Lifted ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas marry into smoky vanillin oak with hints of dark chocolate, leather and spice also evident. There’s good body weight and richness to the palate yet its refined and plush in its feel with flavours of blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate sitting over spicy vanillin oak and a dash of pepper. Velvet smooth tannins concluding with a long liquorice, ripe blackberry, vanillin oak, subtle dark chocolate and spice aftertaste.
