Deep dark purple red colour with black tinged edges and a purple red hue. Aromas of plum and liquorice are overlaid by earthy leather characters with traces of spicy incense also evident. Medium bodied with a fresh elegant feel the palate has flavours of dark cherries and subtle liquorice laced with earthy barnyard characters and spice. Dry finish with slightly chalky tannins, crunchy like acidity and a vibrant medium length aftertaste.
