2016 Brand's Laira Blockers Cabernet Sauvignon

Dense inky black in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Elevated blackcurrant and liquorice aromas mix with cedary tobacco notes, black olive, subtle bay leaf and spice. Rich and concentrated yet also possessing terrific poise, the medium bodied palate is layered with blackcurrant, mulberry and liquorice fruits. Cigar box, spicy black olive and subtle infusions of bay leaf add complexity. Sturdy in its feel, providing an excellent framework is a structured matrix of fine grained tannins. Concludes long, refined and solidly built.
