2016 Bethany First Village Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Pronounced ripe dark plum and liquorice scents rise from the glass with black cherry, smoky vanillin cedar and hints of dark chocolate also evident. Medium to full bodied with good richness and a very plush, silky feel the palate dishes up flavours of dark plums, liquorice and fennel over smoky vanillin cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of dark plums, liquorice, smoky vanillin cedar, fennel and light spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
