2016 Beechworth Wine Estates Pinot Gris

Bright pale straw colour with a watery hue. Nosing evokes aromas of ripe pears and dried apples overlaid by dried honey with some light quince and spice end notes. Quite rich and textured the palate dishes up generous flavours of ripe pears, apples and dried honey over some quince. Finishes dry and spicy with well balanced lively acidity. Long spicy aftertaste of ripe pears, apples, dried honey, quince and a hint of dried nut. A very spicy and texturally full Pinot Gris.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
